The government is introducing a security bill to reduce organised crime. Within this bill was a liberty-destroying provision that prevented airports from employing FORMER criminals (those who have served their time), or those who hang out with motorcycle groups (who should have freedom to associate with whomever they choose).
I successfully amended this part of the bill, meaning that former criminals who have done their time and citizens who are part of motorcycle groups are not discriminated against simply for trying to get a job without going on welfare.
